TRIO Training, Portland

Cherryl Arnold served as a practitioner for 34 years with TRIO. She worked with SSS, McNair, UB, UBMS, VUB, Talent Search, EOC, and CCAMPIS, including two state programs, EOP and SBP. She is currently a consultant providing expertise and extensive knowledge of the Federal TRIO Program guidelines and regulations. She has often been called up to conduct workshops, site visits, program audits, onboarding, proposal writings, and edits to assist TRIO Program administrators.

I’m Geof Garner, and I grew up in Astoria, Oregon, and have lived in Portland since 1993 (with a few years traveling in Germany and Europe and studying in Eugene, Oregon, at the University of Oregon). I earned a master of arts in teaching from Lewis and Clark College. I have directed TRIO Talent Search and Upward Bound Programs for 18 years. Dr. Ricardo Quintero is the Executive Director of TRIO Pre-College Programs at Cal Poly Pomona, California.
